Children's Neurosurgical Associates

We are a neurosurgical practice dedicated to serving the pediatric population. Our practice is headed by Peter P. Sun, M.D., and we are committed to the treatment of babies, children, and adolescents with neurosurgical disorders. Our inpatient service is based at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, which allows our practice to thrive in a setting created just for kids.

We are the regional leader in complex pediatric neurosurgical care, including brain tumors, spinal disorders, congenital anomalies, craniosynostosis, spasticity, and hydrocephalus. We use state-of-the-art surgical techniques and equipment in our cases along with best practice guidelines to achieve optimal results.

Our staff is here to provide a personal and caring experience for the entire family. We can assist those families traveling from far distances with transportation, housing and other needs during these trying times. Patients and families are often pleased to know that the neurosurgical operative care will always be performed by our attending neurosurgeons.
